Shahibaug Ahmedabad invites sealed Item rate tender on behalf of BHARAT SANCHAR NIGAM LIMITED for the following work (s) from the approved and eligible contractors of BSNL Civil wing/DOT/DOP/CPWD/MES/Local State PWD (R&B) and Railways eligible for tendering the respective state PWD (R&B) for building works. The intending tenderers other than the contractors enlisted with BSNL Civil Wing should have required experience as per Para-III given below. All the intending tenderers shall also have a valid Service Tax registration number. The Contractors registered in appropriate class of BSNL Civil Wing shall be eligible for issue of tender forms irrespective of the limit of number of works in hand and irrespective of the financial limit of work in hand as per respective rule of Enlistment of contractor in BSNL 2004 only.

(b) List of eligible tenderers will be displayed on Website www.gujarat.bsnl.co.in/civil at 16.00 Hrs. on 27/05/2009 (Only the eligible tenderers, as displayed on Website, shall be permitted to quote rates /percentage and submit tenders). (c ) Last date of issue of tender form 29/05/2009 (d) Tenders from eligible tenderers will be received by the EE( C ), Civil Division-II,Ahmedabad. upto 15:00 Hrs. on 01/06/2009 and will be opened by him or his authorized representative on the same day at 15:30 Hrs. II Tenders will be issued to eligible contractors provided they produce proof of their valid enlistment, Service Tax registration and EPF registration with the appropriate authority. III All the intending tenderers other than those enlisted with BSNL Civil Wing should have completed satisfactorily at least (i) Three building works/similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the Estimated Cost OR (ii) Two building works/similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the Estimated Cost OR (iii) One building work/similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the Estimated Cost under Central/State Governments/Public Sector Undertaking Departments during last seven years ending last day of month previous to one in which application are invited. Similar works shall mean the Building/ Tower Foundation / Tower Foundation including Erection / Boundary Wall Works. IV. The intending tenders shall submit definite proof of registration certificates and list of work of requisite magnitude Completed along-with copy of certificates/testimonials of their satisfactory completion from the department Concerned obtained from an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer-in-charge of the work, while applying for participation of tender in the prescribed.
