	Product Detail	-	PRE-QUALIFICATION BOOKLET FOR CONSTRUCTION OF TOWNSHIP FOR POWER PLANT. Company intend to construct a Township for Power Plant Employees at village Kovaya, Taluka Rajula. Invites prequalification Applications from reputed Civil Contractors for Construction of Various Civil Works.

	Product Note	-	Minimum Qualification Criteria 1. The Contractor should have experience in successful completion of construction of Similar* Works i.e. last – 7 years (on the date of publication of Advertisement), having specifications confirming to bid requirements of a single order value be either of the followings, a) Three similar* completed works each costing not less than Rs. 200 Lacs b) Two similar* completed works each costing not less than Rs. 500 Lacs c) One similar* completed work costing not less than Rs.1000 Lacs Similar* Works : Experience of Constructing Road, Buildings, Ware houses, Residential Colony or related infrastructure including electrical and interiors are considered as Similar Works. 2. Contractor shall provide all the concurrent assignment details as on the date of this notification. 3. Average annual financial turnover of the firm (Including the value of work in progress till date) during the period of last three Financial Year ending 31st March 2009 should be at least Rs one crore supported with balance sheets / work completion certificates / statement of receipt of Income etc. Please, also attach audited annual accounts for the last three years. 4. The Contractor should submit the copies of Income tax returns of the last three years. 5. The Contractor shall submit the Bank Solvency Certificate of minimum Rs 50 lacs. 6. The Company shall have a positive net worth during the previous three years as per the latest annual audit reports. 7. Contractor shall have all required statutory licenses / registrations confirming to the norms of rules and regulations in force. 8. GPPC reserves the right to cancel / modify the Pre‐qualification process without assigning any reasons. 9. Considering the Project Schedule limitations, GPPC will have sole rights to appoint Civil contractors who are prequalified earlier to work with GPPC on performance basis. 10. The Contractor should have sufficient number of experienced personnel, technical know‐how, construction equipments & machinery‐mixers, vibrators, tower & mobile‐hoists, batching plants, generator and other resources, to complete the project well in time with superior quality of 4 materials & workmanship as per standard specifications. (criteria may vary as per requirement of project) 11. Application by those firms who do not submit performance certificates from their previous employers are liable to be summarily rejected. 12. The Contractor should not have filed any notice or litigation against GPPC or any of the GSPC Group Companies for any sort of claims. 13. Documents proof to the satisfaction of the GPPC shall be submitted for the above eligibility criteria. 14. Qualified Contractor shall be enlisted as approved Contractor for Civil Construction work of GPPC subject to their satisfactory performance. 15. Due to Project Schedule limitations, any request for extension in submission of the Application will not be granted nor acknowledged. 16. GPPC also reserves the right to reject any or all the Application received at its sole discretion without assigning any reasons what so ever. This Advertisement does not constitute and will not be deemed to constitute any commitment on part of GPPC. 17. Applications complete in all respects along with relevant documents & information in GPPC’s format duly super scribing PREQUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS for NAME OF PROJECT on envelops should reach at the following address on or before 11th June 09 @ 1600 hrs. 18. Issue of tenders will be restricted to the contractors approved in response to this notice. The GPPC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons whatsoever therefore. Notes: 1. Information has to be filled up specifically in this format. Please do not write remark “As indicated in Brochure”. 2 Date shall be reckoned from the date of advertisement of the notice in news papers. 3 For certificates, the issuing authority shall not be less than an executive in charge.
